Clothes and dress code at Yokohama Casino
Clothes and dress code at Yokohama Casino
In Asian casinos such as Macau, Korea, Philippines, Singapore and in America including Las Vegas, there is no strict dress code set to enter casinos.
Especially, those massive IR resort casinos have a whole a lot of people coming and going all the time, so it’s difficult for staff and guards to check clothing.
So, in Yokohama where there are a lot of foreign tourists, the casino will not have any dress code to enter.
However, short pants, sandals and pajamas are too rough manner wise and some casinos overseas do have some staff who note about how you dress.
Also, at a lot of casinos in Europe such as Italy, Monaco, Austria and Switzerland, men have to wear a jacket, shirt and long trousers (jeans and sport shoes are ok.) and women have to wear applicable clothing manner wise (a casual style or better), so baggage reception often have jackets to lend at a charge.
If casinos in Japan can adopt a prestigious European tradition style, then we can make unique rules that other countries in Asia don’t have.
